Holleewood Hair is Taking Over the Hair World

This blog was started by Hollee Eckenrode, cosmetologist from Carson City, NV. She felt like it would be useful to share some knowledge with other hairstylists, or even common people. "I know that hair can be confusing sometimes, and I just want to help other people out." She also likes all of facts she learns from her research. "I have learned so many cool things about hair so far, that I have incorporated into my work and personal hair care," she says.

This was the first blog she ever decided to do and it has already grown a lot. Each month the number of views has more than doubled. This month, it is projected to gain 70,000 views. One of her articles has recently been wide-spread over Pinterest.

She has been doing hair in Carson City, Nevada for over 7 years. "I'd really hate to smash my beauty school, but I seriously didn't learn anything while I was there. I'm sorry but you can't make it in this industry with a solid knowledge of shampoo/sets." She always enjoys helping new hairstylists in real life too. "It took me about 3-4 years to understand what I was doing and I hated doing hair during those first years. I try to help other people so they might not have it as hard as I did."

Hollee had been thinking about starting a blog for quite some time, so one day she just decided to do it. "I had just started my own business doing hair, and decided that there was no better niche for my blog then hair." She figured that she could work on it in her down-time at work but now it has become an obsession. Her goal is to make it one of the best hair blogs on the internet.

Although she has a long way to go to reach her goals, she is on her way to success.
