“Cast Away Camp Out” Gives Tesoro’s Littlest Mates a Treasure Trove of Exciting Adventures

The newest kids-oriented activity debuts brings tons of smiles this summer to Tesoro

Manzanillo, Mexico, July 02, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Marshmallow roasts, treasure hunts and ghost stories will light a fire with Tesoro Manzanillo’s youngest “mates” as the Corsarios Kids Club debuts its newest kid-oriented activity: “Cast Away Camp Outs” every Saturday.

Older kids aged seven to 12 years are invited to join experienced Tesoro Manzanillo staff from 8 pm to 1 am for a night of fun and games, ghost stories and local legends, marshmallow roasts and treasure hunts around the camp fire. Registration of the child’s full name, allergies, and room number helps locate parents immediately in the event of an emergency or if Junior simply wants to turn in early before the night is through.

“We wanted kids to get excited about Tesoro’s pirate theme, and what better way than to tell ghost stories, have treasure hunts all with a bonfire on the beach,” says Tesoro Manzanillo General Manager Francisco Zuazua. “In the meantime, parents get the night off to enjoy a leisurely dinner or the evening show knowing their children are in safe, capable hands.”

“Cast Away Camp Out” night is the latest kid-friendly feature at Tesoro Manzanillo, which last fall opened the spectacular Corsarios adventure waterpark with waterslides, bubbling fountains and a shallow wading pool for toddlers centered around a massive pirate ship with billowing sails. The word ‘corsario’ refers to a brigadier of the sea and plays off Tesoro’s pirate theme. Premier installations include a thatched roof open-air lunch area, giant sandbox, tree house with supervised games and activities, and camping area.

Corsarios Kids Club at Tesoro Manzanillo and Tesoro Ixtapa for kids aged four to 12 years offers supervised games and activities run by capable counselors that keep children active, happy and entertained. Weekly supervised “movie nights” give parents an extra evening off with G-rated films appropriate to the age group and fresh popcorn, soda and movie snacks that recreate an authentic cinematic atmosphere.

Special VIP attention continues with the “Little Treasures” service introduced in Manzanillo and Ixtapa last year, which presents kids with a welcome package upon check-in that includes a beach bag, an activities coloring book full of puzzles, games and stories, multi-colored crayons, a beach toy, and some snacks.

From July 1 to August 19 families can enjoy the “Big Summer Package” at Tesoro Manzanillo and Tesoro Ixtapa for 1,190 pesos (Thurs. to Sat.) and 1,090 pesos (Sun. to Wed.) Price is per adult per night all inclusive. Two tots under five years eat, stay and play free while kids six to 12 years pay 250 pesos per night.
