Barry S. Moose, PE Joins SEPI Engineering & Construction as Operations and Maintenance Director
Local Engineering Firm Hires Professional Engineer with 28 Years of Experience.
Raleigh, NC, September 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sepi Asefnia, president of SEPI Engineering & Construction (SEPI) (http://www.sepiengineering.com), a firm which provides civil engineering and planning services to private and public sector clients across the Southeast, has announced the addition of Barry S. Moose, PE, as operations and maintenance director. In his position, Mr. Moose will expand SEPI’s construction, engineering and maintenance operations in North Carolina as well as throughout the Southeast.
Mr. Moose received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and participated in the Transportation Leadership Program at NC State University’s Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE). Mr. Moose has over 28 years experience in transportation and has spent two decades in various engineering positions with the North Carolina Department of Transportation. He most recently served as the Highway Division 10 division engineer serving Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Stanly and Union counties. During his 28 years in the engineering industry, Mr. Moose has been honored with the Outstanding Achievement in HOV Project Management Award from the Transportation Research Board, and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) 25-Year Meritorious Service Award. He is an active volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Association and Boy Scouts of America, and has served in various leadership positions, including deacon, at his church. Mr. Moose currently resides in the Metrolina area with his wife, Carol.
