William Peace University Unveils Speaker Series for Fall 2012 Season

Local Four-Year Baccalaureate University to Feature Three Lecturers in Free Events on Campus.

Raleigh, NC, September 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced its speaker series which will take place on campus during the fall 2012 semester. Kicking off the series, Doc Hendley will discuss “Wine to Water,” an American charitable organization he created that is devoted to providing clean water and sanitation to people around the world. The discussion will be held on Friday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. in Kenan Hall. The Lunch and Learn presentations will begin with David McLennan, Ph.D., political science professor with the university, providing an overview of “The 2012 Election & My Predictions” on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at noon in Flowe Building, Room 110. The final discussion in the series will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at noon, where Marnie Arkenberg, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology at Shaw University, will address “Vocabulary Development” in Flowe Building, Room 110. All three events are free and open to the public, but registration is required.
