Roxem Assets Increases Like on Like Rentals in the First Half of 2012
Roxem Assets GmbH has increased its leasing performance in the first six months of this year in comparison to the first half of 2011. The Berlin-based asset manager has trebled the number of square meters leased on behalf of its clients compared with last year.
Berlin, Germany, September 07, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Altogether Roxem generated some €1.4 million in total annual rents in the first half of 2012. This was predominately light industrial property around the areas of Hamburg, Bremen and Hanover.

On behalf of Hansteen, Roxem has recently let 20,000 sq m (215,278 sq ft) of warehouse space and 200 sq m (2152.7 sq m) of office space at the Louis Krages site in Bremen's Industriehafen (industrial port area), Germany.
Construction of the warehouse is due to complete on the 1st of May 2013 following a comprehensive redesign after two fires destroyed part of the site. The unit will be occupied by a large German logistics provider.
Matthias Wunsch, managing director of Roxem Assets GmbH, said: "This pre-let is a great success and is the first step towards revitalising the burned down portion of the site. This is an outstanding example of how an asset manager can assist investments with revitalisation concepts bringing added value to the site while meeting the needs of modern long term tenants."
Based in an established industrial area, the Louis Krages site houses 100,000 sq m (1,076,319 sq ft) of warehouse and ancillary office space. The site has capacity for another 50,000 sq m (538,195 sq ft) of new warehouse space.
Hamburg-based ProConsult GmbH advised on the contract negotiations.
