First Maintenance and Operations Training Company to Win IACET 2012 Exemplar Award
Technology Transfer Services, Inc. has won the IACET Exemplar Award for External Training. This is the first time this award has been given to a maintenance and operations training company.
Tampa, FL, September 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Technology Transfer Services (TTS), builder of immersive learning environments through the combination of virtual worlds, instructor-led training, site-specific training, custom eLearning, and simulation, was honored as the 2012 recipient of the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) Exemplar Award for External Training.

The IACET Awards Reception, held at the Lorien Hotel in Alexandria, VA, on August 23rd, 2012, marks the first time a maintenance and operations training company has won the award. LeAnne Selman, M.Ed., an Instructional Designer at TTS, represented the innovative training provider at the annual awards ceremony where TTS received the Exemplar Award for External Training. The project submitted for award consideration included the blended learning training that was delivered for a global energy company.
