Hopkinton, MA, September 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Tri-Star Design, Inc. announced today that they have successfully designed, developed, and tested the world’s first cellular iris recognition device.
Initially targeted for national security applications, Tri-Star Design delivered several prototypes for evaluation trials scheduled for the month of September.
The product is a handheld, battery powered biometric identification and recognition device used by military, national security, and state and federal law enforcement agencies across the nation. This device utilizes advanced low power Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology and algorithms to perform iris recognition analysis.
Earlier models of iris recognition technology have been stationary and lacking in wireless technology. With this device, Biometric Identification and Recognition of any person can be made from any location.
