Hinckley-Big Rock Elementary School to be Visited by RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon on Sept. 24

Hinckley, IL, September 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The students at Hinckley-Big Rock Elementary, who are in grades K-5th, will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions.

The program will be presented twice starting at 10 a.m. in the school gymnasium to all 320 students at the school. The 75-foot-tall balloon envelope will be inflated with cold air, permitting students to walk inside it. The presentation then will conclude outdoors with a demonstration of how the balloon basket and burners operate.
