Celestion's AN Series Family of Ground-Breaking, Full-Range, Compact Line Array Drivers Are Shipping Now
Celestion's three AN Series small-format, full-range drivers purpose-built for compact line array/column speaker applications are now shipping to manufacturers worldwide.
Ipswich, United Kingdom, September 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Celestion are shipping their ground-breaking AN Series Compact Array Drivers.
These three compact and lightweight loudspeakers are particularly suited to discreet, low-profile sound reinforcement applications such as compact line arrays and column speakers.
Each model utilizes an efficient neodymium magnet assembly and features a stiff and light aluminium cone that remains rigid to higher frequencies to deliver a smoother response.
All three AN Series models have been built using a lightweight glass-reinforced ABS chassis, designed for maximum free air movement, with a square mounting frame to facilitate close coupling of multiple units.
AN3510 is a 3.5”/88mm unit delivering 35-watt power handling and 86dB sensitivity, with a bandwidth of 125Hz to 20kHz.
AN2775 is a 2.75”/70mm driver delivering 20-watt power handling and 82.5dB sensitivity, with a bandwidth of 190Hz to 20kHz.
AN2075 is a 2”/50mm driver delivering 20-watt power handling and 81dB sensitivity with a bandwidth of 200Hz to 20kHz.
In common with all of Celestion's professional audio product range, each AN Series loudspeaker has been optimized using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques to maximise performance while minimising unwanted distortion.
Additionally, the AN Series has been designed to deliver a much wider dispersion characteristic than conventional loudspeakers of this size. This better enables sound reinforcement systems designers to build into their compact products some of the principal advantages offered by line array designs: a more even distribution of the acoustic signal and the ability to project sound over greater distances.
