RE/MAX Sauk Valley Expands with Acquisition of Dixon Franchise
Dixon, IL, September 14, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Jim Cesarek, Tim McCaslin and John Rosengren, the owners of RE/MAX Sauk Valley in Sterling, Ill., have expanded their brokerage by acquiring the RE/MAX franchise in nearby Dixon, Ill. The office, which has been renamed RE/MAX Sauk Valley, allows the firm to better serve the Dixon and Lee County areas.
Located at 1319 N. Galena Ave., the Dixon office will give RE/MAX Sauk Valley agents the chance to meet with their Dixon-area clients at a more convenient location.
"From the beginning we have always served the Dixon area," said Rosengren, "but when we needed to meet with our Dixon-area clients in our office, it was sometimes a 30-, 40-mile trip for them. Many clients had asked us to open a Dixon office, and we're glad to be able to do this for them."
RE/MAX Sauk Valley agents can now work from either of the firm’s two offices, which will result in greater efficiency. The hope is that these agents, like their clients, will be able to dramatically cut down on the time they spend driving.
The expansion to Dixon coincides with a rebound in the entire Sauk Valley real estate market, with sales activity picking up.
Rosengren said he sees a number of signs pointing to a strengthening market.
"Agricultural land has been strong for a long time now," he said. "It is going up in value, and as soon as it is listed, it is almost immediately sold. We are also seeing more people invest in residential properties. Many are buying short sales and repossessed homes and fixing them up. These are often very good values. That is a segment of the market that continues to grow stronger.”
The brokers working with RE/MAX Sauk Valley handle a wide range of property types. Some specialize in residential, others in land and others in commercial and industrial facilities. This allows the firm to help clients take advantage of the full range of opportunities in a recovering real estate market.
RE/MAX has been the leader in the northern Illinois real estate market since 1989.
