Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Balmoral Receives a Second Warm Welcome in the Historic Port of Cobh

Olsen Cruise Lines’ Balmoral was delighted to welcome the 'Cobh Animation Team' on board when the ship called at Cobh, Ireland on 7th September 2012, as part of its 28-night L1216 ‘Canada Eastern Seaboard’ cruise. This is the second time that Balmoral has called at this historic Irish port, having made its maiden call in April 2012 when the ship was chartered for Miles Morgan Travel’s sell-out ‘Titanic Memorial Cruise’, where she received the warmest welcome that the cruise line has ever experienced in any port around the world!
The ‘Cobh Animation Team’ are a group of ladies who were inspired by the 'Titanic Memorial Cruise' back in April to dress in period costume to showcase the town’s heritage and strong links with the RMS Titanic. They gather on the quayside prior to departure for every cruise ship and mingle with guests, have their pictures taken and create a fantastic atmosphere and sense of occasion!
