MediPurpose Names MED Alliance Group as Exclusive Distributor in the Midwestern U.S. for New babyLance Heel Incision Device

They will join two other exclusive regional distributors. Last month, MediPurpose announced that Kentec Medical of Irvine, California will distribute babyLance heelsticks in 15 states throughout the Western United States, and that KOL Bio-Medical Instruments of Chantilly, Virginia will distribute babyLance in 22 states Eastern United States.

Introduced last month, the new babyLance infant heel incision device is a fully redesigned version of MediPurpose's original safe, easy and effective heelstick device.

Used by neonatal caregivers to collect blood samples from infants, the new babyLance features an ergonomic design to provide a secure and stable grip. Combined with a redesigned trigger mechanism, the device is easy to activate, helping to deliver a consistent incision without touching the baby's tender nerve fibers. The product is now available for sale and distribution through MediPurpose's new partners.

MED Alliance Group will be distributing both versions of the babyLance heelstick device:

* The babyLance(r) BLP (Preemie), which delivers an incision depth of 0.85 mm.
