Clean Technology Council Hosts Presentation on Recycled Water

October 2nd event "Recycled water: Is it as good as the original?" will focus on facts and myths about recycled water and its benefits of conservation and sustainability

Westlake Village, CA, September 17, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Clean Technology Council today announced it will host a presentation on "Recycled water: Is it as good as the original?,” Tuesday, October 2, at 6:00 p.m. The event will be conducted by Carlos G. Reyes, PE, director of resource conservation and public outreach, Las Virgenes Municipal Water District, and will be held at the offices of SoCalIP Law Group, LLP, 310 N. Westlake Blvd., Suite 120, Westlake Village, CA 91362.

The presentation will address the facts and myths about recycled water and view its benefits in terms of conservation and sustainability. Mr. Reyes will also discuss the regulations, public perception, current trends, and what the future holds.

About Carlos G. Reyes
Carlos G. Reyes is the Director of Resource Conservation and Public Outreach for Las Virgenes Municipal Water District. He is a registered civil engineer in the State of California and obtained his bachelor of science in civil engineering from the Philippines. Mr. Reyes has 29 years of experience in the water and waste water industry. His water experience includes design, manufacturing and startup of water treatment equipment. At the water district, he was the project engineer during the construction and startup of the Rancho Las Virgenes Composting Facility, the first in-vessel plant of its kind in California. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Reyes managed the drinking water, recycled water, waste water treatment and composting operations for the district. He now heads the department in charge of customer service, conservation, watershed stewardship and public outreach.
