Retail Realm to Host the 2013 "Microsoft Dynamics Retail Technology Conference" in Las Vegas

Global technology company’s 3rd annual conference will showcase Microsoft Dynamics RMS and "AX for Retail" along with integrated software, hardware, and e-commerce solutions.

Sonoma, CA, September 19, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Drawing on their success from the past two years, Retail Realm (www.rrdisti.com), a multinational software development and distribution company, announces they are hosting the 3rd annual "Microsoft Retail Technology Conference" at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Jan. 25 – 27, 2013. Open to the public and specifically targeting Microsoft Dynamics ISVs, resellers and retailers, the event will showcase a 360-degree view of all Microsoft software and technology solutions in the retail sector.

The conference agenda will cover current functionality and issues related to the Microsoft Retail Management Store and HQ system, as well as explore Microsoft’s Next Generation RMS. Similar to previous years, the RR Conference will also showcase innovative retail solutions by leading companies and offer presentation sessions from ISV partners with outstanding developments on the Microsoft platform.

There will also be new components to the 2013 conference, including a comprehensive Microsoft "AX for Retail" track that targets large enterprise clients in the retail industry. Having recently secured a global contract with Microsoft to distribute "AX for Retail" worldwide, Retail Realm has added to their traditional 3-session track a full fourth session track dedicated solely to AX. This 2-day track, sponsored by Shift4 Corporation, will share Microsoft’s plans for AX as well as provide opportunities for Retail Realm’s AX Alliance partners to present their integrated solutions to a varied audience of sales, technical and operational consultants. Retail Realm will also hold a special AX Alliance table that will let all members discuss development, sales and marketing strategies around the solution.

Retail Realm also plans to make the conference even more interactive this year and will be unveiling a new conference website designed around the "Retail Realm Content Zone," which is a unique online experience allowing exhibitors and attendees to interact closely before and after the conference, access the event contact, download marketing collateral, see videos, as well as have continuous access to the educational seminar materials and exhibitor updates.

"One of the ways in which our conference is unique is that it invites any company related to retail technology—ISVs, resellers, retailers, industry publications, experts—to come together in one space, exhibit, and explore retail from all different perspectives," said Breanna Bocchi, Marketing Manager for Retail Realm. "We have designed the conference to introduce new technologies, like we did with last year’s digital receipts (Lemon) and QR codes (Microsoft Tag). Our agenda also includes educational sessions and important news updates about current and future retail trends, as well as encourages attendees to network at informal and fun events surrounding the conference, like Friday night’s Welcome Reception at Caesars’ Shadow Bar sponsored by Mercury."

Starting the Monday following RR’s weekend conference, Retail Realm will offer a 10-day compressed Microsoft Dynamics AX training program, also in Las Vegas, designed for companies wanting to be certified on the AX solution and understand it in more depth. Attendees at the RR 2013 Conference will receive a reduced price rate.

To register for the conference and/or training session, or to receive more information, contact conference@rrdisti.com. Retail Realm is currently accepting inquiries from prospective exhibitors and sponsors. The conference will include many exhibitors, such as Bluestar, Mercury, Avalara, DIGIOP, Shift4 Corporation, Keykode Inc., Retail Technology Limited, RMSfusion, PayPros, New West Technologies, and more. "I was thrilled to attend the Retail Realm conference last year and can’t wait to see what this next conference has in store for the channel," said Jen Senger, Retail Tele-Partner Community Manager, Microsoft. "We are embarking on a lot of exciting changes in Microsoft Retail and partners are hungrier for more market share than ever. This conference will give these resellers tools to help them become more successful in their business and get all the most recent updates from our Microsoft executive team."
