From Fashion's Night Out Miami 2012 to Art Exhibition: "Emporio dei Giovani" and Emilio Aponte-Sierra's "Catwalk"
Art exhibition of both fashion and paper mache 3D figures takes Miami by storm at LMNT art gallery from September 6, 2012 to September 27, 2012.
Miami, FL, September 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Emporio dei Giovani from September 6 to September 27, 2012 will be exhibiting their autumn collection as an extension of their success at Fashion’s Night Out Miami 2012. Seven different designers from diverse regions in Italy contributed their artistry to the line with each designer presenting their own artistic view.
Elisa from Lago Garda used innovative eco-friendly leather shaped into laced patterns to create her dresses. She bases the color palette of on an Indian summer. Gessica from Marina di Montemarciano presented a line for a woman who is not afraid to dress her curves or lack of them. Her use of Italian lace and chiffon creates a vintage aura to her looks. Matteo from Ancona took up tailoring techniques to create a half moon dress in black and cream silhouttes. Classe 1991 composed of designers Giada, Francesca and Mena, childhood friends, created classic youthful forms utilizing fabrics such as chiffon and special touches such as pearl adornments. Alfina from Sicily brought her romantic poetic vision with crimson bows and lace to the line.
In conjunction to the design line exhibition, Emporio dei Giovani has teamed up again with artist Emilio Aponte-Sierra who contributed to the performance art piece of the Fashion’s Night Out event. He will be exhibiting “Catwalk” a series of paper mache 3-D art figures. He uses the techniques of interlacing, cutting, rolling and twisting to make each figure in it's own unique form. His figures including Bella, Blondie, Monique, and Handbag evoke the feeling of a live runway show made art.

About Emilio Aponte-Sierra
He is an artist, mental health guidance counselor, fishing engineer and community advocate. His previous exhibition included manipulated photographs. His present exhibition “Catwalk” will also make a special appearance on October 16 , 2012 during the Hispanic HIV Leadership Awards 2012 at Pride Center at Equality Park in Broward.
