Church of Scientology Hosts Seminar by Prominent Composer
The Nashville Church of Scientology hosted a seminar for musicians by David Campbell and Raven Kane on September 10, 2012.
Nashville, TN, September 20, 2012 --(PR.com)-- According to an LA Times article about David Campbell from 1999, his “presence is vibrant and striking... Campbell brings the grand tones to life with a visible passion.”
Over ten years later Campbell has a long list of achievements to show for this passion. His legacy as an arranger already includes over 450 gold and platinum albums from the likes of Metallica, Linkin Park, Tim McGraw, Leonard Cohen, Evanescence, Michael Jackson and many albums by his son Beck.
He has worked with the finest names in music including Johnny Cash, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Beyonce and Radiohead. Most recently his arrangements are found on Adele's 21 where he did the string arrangements for five songs. Albums or films he worked on have received 232 Grammy nominations, 50 Grammy awards and 2 Oscars for music.
Raven Kane’s accomplishments include vocal recordings on 11 platinum records, numerous show scores and live performances with music greats such as Paul McCartney and Neil Diamond.
And now this dynamic duo is reaching out to help the next generation of musicians with a seminar in Nashville held on Sept 10, 2012 hosted by the Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre.
The church commented on why they are hosting the seminar, “A Church of Scientology Celebrity Centre is not somewhere you just go on Sunday,” says Rev. Brian Fesler, Pastor of the Church, “We have activities everyday of the week, and many of them here involve helping Nashville’s artists.”
In the book Science of Survival by founder of the Church, L. Ron Hubbard, it states: “The artist has an enormous role in the enhancement of today’s and the creation of tomorrow’s reality.”
The seminar included workshops on the secrets to winning over your audience and how to create a major career.
