New Music Website Launch

Houston, TX, July 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Houston-based groove selector and radio personality Bobby Phats has launched a new music blog - www.DopeJoints.com. The website will focus on primarily progressive and alternative soul music as well as hip-hop and politics. This is a long-overdue transition to the web for Phats, as he has concentrated his efforts on his critically acclaimed radio program, The Groove (90.1 FM KPFT) - which also focuses on hip-hop and progressive/alternative soul. One of the longest running radio shows in the U.S. to encompass this soul format, the website will be an extension of the The Groove and will offer music reviews, downloads, interviews, and podcasts. Dope Joints will also focus on the lively Houston music and club scene, which has slowly become a more frequent tour stop for soul and hip-hop artists alike.
