Displays2Go Introduces iPad/Tablet Holder That Breaks the $2 Barrier
Even in a high-tech age, simple is sometimes best. New wire frame display mount holds any iPad or tablet, goes anywhere, and costs less than a decaf venti mocha.
Bristol, RI, September 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Displays2Go has introduced a new tablet stand that is innovative in its sheer simplicity. With a price point under two dollars, the versatile folding wire frame iPad holder may be the cheapest on the market, but still performs admirably.
“I’m surprised no one else thought of it, honestly,” states Sandra Reno, New Product Specialist at Displays2Go.com. “It’s just so simple. It’s a wire frame that can hold any size tablet up to one inch thick, and that pretty much covers all models. iPads fit in it perfectly, no matter what generation. It fits in a pocketbook or briefcase, it displays portrait or landscape and tilts. It sits solidly on any flat surface. Does it do everything other stands can do? Of course not, but when you just need to use your iPad or tablet hands free, this model is perfect. And the cup of coffee I had this morning cost more than it does.”
The small stands are composed of a durable wire frame coated in black nylon plastic to eliminate scratching of devices. The foldable design features two legs, one short and one long, for adjustable placement in either portrait or landscape viewing, and a 1” bottom support lip to securely hold iPads and other tablets in place. When not in use, the unit folds nearly flat for unobtrusive storage.
“Of course, we offer other models that have more features, don’t get me wrong,” adds Reno. “Especially for commercial use, where they need secure mounting and locking mechanisms and so on. But even in those situations, sometimes you just want to plonk the iPad down on a desk and look at it, without having to ‘install’ it into a stand. This stand is for those situations. And it’s inexpensive enough that you can have a few laying around just in case you need them.”
