About Mary Kathryn Schoneck-Rachuy, BSN, PHN
Ms. Schoneck-Rachuy has over 25 years experience in the healthcare field. She is the Director of Nursing at Hayes Residence, a long term care nursing facility in St. Paul, Minnesota. Ms. Schoneck-Rachuy oversees all of the nursing department functions and has some administrative duties. She is responsible for all staff education and serves as a consultant. Throughout her career, Ms. Schoneck-Rachuy has been an RN and HCM for assisted living facilities specializing in long term care, acute care and hospice care, a college instructor at Rasmussen College and MN West Community and Technical College, a DNS, an educational coordinator, an EMT, an LPN, a TMA, a staffing coordinator, a station secretary, an NA and a volunteer. She was born in Winnebago, Minnesota and received her B.S.N. from Presentation College and holds Certifications as a Public Health Nurse, Home Care Manager; E.M.T., L.P.N., T.M.A. and Station Secretary-SCTC/MAVTI. Ms. Schoneck-Rachuy received the following awards: Bronze and Silver Awards for Quality Care and Services from A.H.C.A. in 2009 and 2010, Golden Living Center DNS Leadership Award in 2010 and Deficiency-Free Annual MDH State Survey in 2011. She is affiliated with the Minnesota Nurses Association. In her spare time she enjoys quarter mile drag racing.
