Ms. Thomas-DePuit has over 40 years experience as a Registered Nurse. She is the Program Manager for John Muir Health, which is a healthcare system in Concord, California which promotes health and prevention education within faith communities and the community at large. Ms. Thomas-DePuit has focused her professional and ministry life on the development of health and wellness programs for the past decade. She has trained and mentored faith community nurses and lay leaders in faith communities on the subject of health ministry in the San Francisco Bay area. Ms. Thomas-DePuit teaches individuals about healthier lifestyles and promotes education. She is the Board Secretary for the Blood Services Division of the American Red Cross, Northern California Chapter and is the Board Secretary for the Health Ministries Association. Ms. Thomas-DePuit serves as the Director of Health and Wellness Ministry for the Church of God in Christ International, Northern California jurisdiction and also serves as an Association Sister for the Sisters of St. Joseph. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee and received her R.N. and B.S.N. from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Thomas-DePuit is married to Thomas T. DePuit and has 4 children and 5 granddaughters. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sewing and canning.
