Quantum Composers Introduces a Powerful, Full Function Pulse & Delay Generator in One of the Smallest Form Factors in the Industry
Quantum Composers announced today that the highly anticipated 9200 Sapphire Series pulse generators will be available for sale starting in October. The Sapphire Series will start at an unprecedented $995, for 2-channels, while offering fast resolution and low jitter. An industry first, the Sapphire has optional Bluetooth, for a totally wireless experience in addition to the USB power.
Bozeman, MT, September 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- This unit will also come with its own software application for easy control. Director of Sales and Marketing, Will Bomar says of the new unit “our Company is proud to be offering industry leading technology now in a smaller, more affordable unit. The decision to offer this technology at such a low price point was made so that smaller labs, universities and nonprofit research institutions can keep abreast of the latest technology and not be left behind due to their smaller budgets.”
The Sapphire Series Features:
- 2 & 4 Channel Versions
- Custom GUI
- Fast Rise Time, <2ns
- Compact Form Factor
This new industry low price point is speculated to put nanosecond timing technology in the hands of the general public for the first time. Industry standard pulse generators run about 5 times the price and many need special lab created programming to function, making nanosecond timing out of the question for smaller research labs or home innovators. Nathan, long time photographer comments, “Imagine if you were able to take photographs at home in nanoseconds or if startup researchers could create a full laser system with a limited budget. Just think how much more research would be accomplished”
Quantum Composers states that this new Sapphire timing system will have 10ns resolution and <500ps RMS Jitter, unheard of for under $1000. The instrument offers a complete set of channel operating modes including continuous, single shot, burst, and duty cycle. These modes combined with external trigger/gate inputs, allows for a full range of complex output waveforms.
About Quantum Composers
Quantum Composers was founded in 1993 in Bozeman, Montana, an already accelerating high tech center for electro-optic startups in the northern Rocky Mountain Region. Over the next 17 years Quantum has become an internationally recognized pioneer in the electro-optics market place with the design and development of a precision pulse generator line and as a provider of custom laser systems for micromachining applications.
