Data Center Design-Build Firm, Data Specialties Inc., Enters 4th Quarter with Strong and Consistent Sales and Marketing Efforts That Proved Beneficial in 2012
As the year heads into the final quarter, Data Specialties Inc., a nationwide data center design and build firm, is still meeting its marketing objectives with a continued presence at industry trade shows.
Orange County, CA, September 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Data Specialties Inc., a nationwide data center design-build firm head quartered in Orange County, CA, heads into 4th quarter 2012 with strong and consistent sales numbers and a pipeline of high profile projects resulting from its aggressive marketing efforts. DSI, who earlier this year augmented its sales and marketing division with key personnel and marketing pros, has seen substantial gain in its national footprint and industry demand as a result of a highly focused marketing and public relations campaign. In February of this year, Priscilla Thomas joined DSI as National Marketing Administrator and took the reigns of the company’s marketing and public relations efforts. As a result, DSI’s local and national footprint has grown by over 69% since end of fiscal year 2011, and continues to increase its presence in the regional and national data center market.
“When I joined DSI, I sought to bring a bit of a creative marketing approach to the company. I knew implementing a strong social media campaign across the primary mediums (Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and more) would pay off with more client/vendor engagement and brand recognition,” says Thomas, who also coordinates all trade show and media buys for DSI. This year DSI implemented a structured marketing plan for advertising and trade shows (as well as additional branding opportunities) that built up its brand recognition to a solid and tangible platform that is both cost effective and successful. “It’s not just about attending every trade show or exposure opportunity available, marketing objectives need to be focused, researched, and offer strong branding opportunity in addition to potential gains,” states Priscilla. Thomas, who came from operating her own public relations and marketing firm in the Los Angeles area, is tenacious in building and reviving brands through full spectrum public relations and marketing practices - experience that has proved a strong benefit to the data center design-build firm.
As the year comes into the final quarter, DSI is still meeting its objectives with a continued presence at trade shows. Having recently opened an office in St. Louis, MO, Midwest and East coast trade shows are now on the company’s radar. DSI will be exhibiting in Nashville, TN from September 30-October 2nd at the AFCOM Data Center World Fall 2012 Convention and at the Healthcare Design Conference in Phoenix, AZ on November 3-6th. “We’ve had a busy year at the various shows,” says Priscilla, “but PR and marketing efforts can never slow down; they are one of the most important responsibilities of any company, and while at times intangible, the results (or lack thereof) are not.” Data Specialties Inc. is already planning a full calendar of trade shows and revised sales and marketing objectives for the upcoming year and, VP of Sales and Marketing, Steve Borley is happy to head into 2013 leading a strong and results focused team.
