American Golf Census Gains Momentum at Halfway Point

Previous American Golf Census Sweepstakes Winner Attends TOUR Championship.

Jupiter, FL, September 22, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The American Golf Census is gaining momentum as it approaches the halfway point of the 2012 Sweepstakes period. Since July, thousands of golfers have registered with the Census in the National Golf Foundation’s ongoing effort to count the country’s estimated 26 million golfers.

The American Golf Census presents golfers with a unique opportunity to be counted in support of the game. The information obtained in the Census improves industry research and communications capabilities, stimulating rounds played and equipment sales.

Golfers can register with the Census by submitting their information at www.AmericanGolfCensus.org. For participating in the Census, every golfer is automatically entered into a sweepstakes to win one of more than 80 golf prizes.

2011 winner, Mark Godin attended the 2012 TOUR Championship in Atlanta. "Being counted gave me the opportunity to go to the TOUR Championship. Getting an up close look at the world's best players competing for the $10 million FedEx Cup prize is an amazing thrill!"

Current American Golf Census sweepstakes prizes include tickets to all four Major Championships in 2013. Another lucky winner will win the ultimate golf shopping spree which includes a trip to Orlando and $5,000 of new equipment. Other winners will receive new drivers, putters and other golf gear.

The American Golf Census is conducted by the National Golf Foundation. Official rules, regulations, major sponsors and a complete list of prizes can be found at www.AmericanGolfCensus.org.
