Back to School Apparel for a Powerful Cause
Clothing company vineyard vinesĀ® teams up with SolSolution to dress Massachusetts for success and raise money for our local solar schools.
Boston, MA, September 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- SolSolution and vineyard vines® are partnering for the clothing company’s Shop for a Cause program to raise funds for solar school installations across Massachusetts. On Thursday, Sept. 27th between 5-8pm, vineyard vines will host the event at their Prudential Center location where all customers will receive 10% off their purchase while vineyard vines will donate 10% of all proceeds back to SolSolution.
The funds raised from the event will go directly towards helping schools across Massachusetts “go solar” and generate clean, renewable energy all while lowering electricity bills. SolSolution is committed to sustainability and reinvests electricity payments received from partner solar schools. These funds are then used to provide a core educational offering for their partners through solar, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, and green entrepreneurship. Additionally, low-income schools have exclusive access to additional funding through SolSolution's Solar Powered Schools Granting Program.
Your purchases made on September 27th can help make this all possible. Stop by the vineyard vines store location in the Fashion Court at The Prudential Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for some back to school shopping that can truly make a difference.
In addition to a great fall vineyard vines collection of apparel and accessories, the fundraiser will feature complimentary refreshments for shoppers of all ages and frozen yogurt provided by Pinkberry.
