A professional group has been created for Non-commissioned Officers serving in state defense forces.
Metairie, LA, September 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- A professional group has been created for Non-commissioned Officers serving in 32 U.S.C. § 109 (c) state defense forces.
The State Defense Forces NCO Group on Facebook and LinkedIn may be located by searching "state defense NCO" on either program.
The United States Code permits individual states to maintain other troops. The most well known of these are the Army and Air National Guards that are present in all states. A state is also permitted to maintain troops that will not be transferred to Title 10 service. These are known as state defense forces and the Governor of the authorizing state serves as their Commander in Chief.
The State Defense Forces NCO Group was created to provide the best available network for connecting those who serve as non-commissioned officers in these forces.
