GCFLearnFree.org Seeks New Web Developer
Due to tremendous growth, GCFLearnFree.org requires the addition of a new web developer.
Raleigh, NC, September 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- GCFLearnFree.org is looking for a developer to join their team in Downtown Raleigh. As a leading provider of free, online education GCFLearnFree.org is experiencing a period of significant growth and needs additional developers to help the website continue to be innovative, while maintaining the high quality of content and interactivity for which the website is known. The developers at GCFLearnFree enjoy a culture that encourages learning and experimentation, coupled with the knowledge that their work impacts millions of learners around the world.
The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a site with a robust and well-developed infrastructure that delivers 100 million page views annually. Current and upcoming projects include:
*maintaining and expanding our existing custom CMS/LMS
*developing new functionality for learning delivery and interactivity
*a mobile strategy that encompasses: Apple, Android, and Kindle Fire development
Requirements
Four-year college degree in a related field or 2 years related experience. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with:
*Object-oriented programming in ASP.NET (VB Preferred)
*JavaScript (jQuery preferred)
*MS SQL Server (database design, advanced queries and stored procedures)
*CSS and HTML (expert knowledge expected)
Position
Permanent, full-time, on-site position located in downtown Raleigh (no telecommuting available). Excellent benefits. EOE, Drug Free Workplace.
