More Great Acts in October in Fire & Ice at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

Dover, DE, September 28, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announces the October line up of acts to perform in Fire & Ice at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino beginning on Friday, Oct. 5 with ’80s/’90s, rock/pop band Eleven Eleven.

Scheduled October appearances also include The Rob Byer Band (country) on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 9:30 p.m.; Full Tilt (R&B) on Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 p.m.; Red Alert Band (R&B) on Friday, Oct. 19 at 9:30 p.m.; Liquid A (party adult contemporary) on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 9:30 p.m.; and The New Romance (‘80s rock and pop) on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9:30 p.m. There is no cover charge for active Capital Club Members.

Eleven Eleven welcomes their audience with a topnotch set list that includes something for everyone. A broad play list combined with their approachable nature makes for a good time. Eleven Eleven has played in many notable entertainment outlets including Ri Ra Irish Pub at The Tropicana Casino, The Social at Revel Casino, Seacrets in Ocean City, and The Beach Bar at Trump Plaza.

The Rob Byer Band’s music has been described as “Country Pop” or “Blue Collar Country.” It encompasses the storytelling of John Mellencamp, the soulful rock country of Travis Tritt and the country pop sensibility of Keith Urban all tied into one. Baltimore-based, The Rob Byer Band has played in many notable venues including Maryland Live! Casino, Camden Yards - Baltimore Orioles stadium, and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville in Key West.

Full Tilt, a Baltimore-based eight-piece horn band, encapsulates everything musical that is ‘70s funk and soul. From The Commodores, Stevie Wonder, Kool and the Gang, K.C. and The Sunshine Band, Earth Wind & Fire, James Brown, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and all the best R&B, Motown, soul. With their powerful sound, Full Tilt engages audiences from the first note to the last with ever-increasing showmanship, crowd interaction, and, flawless musical performance. Some recent venue highlights include Trump Marina, Mt. Airy Casino, Hollywood Casinos, Whispers, Delaware Park Casino, Harborplace in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, and many more.

For more than a decade, the seasoned musicians of The Red Alert Band have been entertaining their audiences with many styles of music from the ‘60s to today’s best dance sounds. They have performed as opening act for a number of legendary national artists including The Temptations, Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes, The Platters and The Delfonics. When The Red Alert Band plays, the dance floor is full and they put on a wonderful show with the exceptional vocals for which they are known.

Liquid A is one of the most sought after premier bands on the East Coast. Liquid A has played every major venue from Vermont to North Carolina, including appearances at the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Nationals stadiums, as well as The House of Blues in Atlantic City and The Social at the Revel. This versatile and musically proficient group of guys covers Motown, classic rock, funk, pop, modern rock, and dance music.

The New Romance is a premier ‘80s cover band with a nonstop, high-energy show. Together the band has a wealth of experience in the music industry and entertainment world and is known to pack a crowd on the dance floor all over venues in the Baltimore area and Mid-Atlantic region.
