On Concrete in Seattle

On Concrete in Seattle
Seattle, WA, July 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- "I did the film 'On Concrete In Seattle' for several reason. I think homelessness is a big issue here in the United States and I don't think enough attention is being focused in this area. I want people to see up close and personal just how homeless people live and there can never be enough exposure about this ever so growing problem."

Darrion Assawn currently a homeless american, decided to shoot a film called "On Concrete In Seattle" from thinking about himself being homeless. "Since I am homeless production of this film was not easy, the creation and editing of this film was done out of Starbucks, libraries, motels and my own car. Finding homeless people for interviews was a tough tasks as well, because I needed to find homeless people that were coherent and sober enough to do a interview." This film makes it's debut at the New York International Film and Video Festival, running from July 19- 26th
