First-Ever Artisan Goat Cheese Cheesecake Debuts for Retail Nationwide

Their cheesecake, made with chevre instead of cream cheese, is a delicious addition to bakery sections everywhere. The new cheesecakes are lighter than the typical cheesecake, since goat cheese is both higher in protein and lower in calories and fat than cream cheese. The cheesecakes are 27 ounces, six inches in diameter, and retail for $29.95. They have a graham cracker crust that surrounds a light filling, made of a mixture of goat cheese and traditional cream cheese. Smaller cheese boutiques and gourmet groceries will also stock the cheesecake. The cheesecakes can be slacked out and have an extended shelf life when frozen.
