World famous corpse still has them laughing
Columbus, OH, July 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Chuck Lamb, the world’s most famous dead person still living, has been announced as About.com’s “Funny Site of the Day”
www.DeadBodyGuy.com is a Chuck Lamb from Columbus, OH a 49 year old computer specialist who admits he has no acting experience, not good looking and really can’t think of anything he does well in the acting profession except one. He can play dead with the best of them.
With well over 40 million hits from 155 different countries to his website, an award for self promotion, numerous TV and movie appearances, it’s a great choice for About.com. The page can be seen at:

When asked about the honor, Mr. Lamb said “As long as I can make people smile and brighten up their day, then I’ll keep living my dream by playing dead”
Still hoping for a bit part in “Law & Order” Mr. Lamb has been seen many other times on TV. The Today Show had him as a guest twice in 2006 and selected him one of 6 guests to be featured on the “Best Of” show last December.
The newest page on Chuck’s site is a Top Ten list of the best things to happen to him in his short but unparalleled rise to full celebrity status. Among them he mentions being in Wikipedia, having his photo hanging in the world famous Carnegie Deli in New York City, playing dead on the red carpet at the 2006 Academy Awards, and a 2-page spread in a tabloid.
Summer will be busy for the person the Associated Press called “A Global Phenomenon” as he has 2 movies being filmed. One being a zombie thriller “Book Of The Dead” http://www.BOTDMovie.com and the other a horror thriller entitled "Krampus": http://www.krampusthemovie.com. A DVD helping “regular players” win at Texas Holdem Poker will be released early September, http://www.winninghomepoker.com and a small scene in a new TV pilot "The Jury": http://www.thejury.tv is also slated. Of course as expected, he will be killed in all of them except one..
Smiling all the way to his demise.
