Unique Designer Donates Hats for Cancer Patients During Fashion Music Event
Camille Wood of Dazzlme designer hats is pleased to donate her specially designed hats to cancer patients and survivors at a fashion and music event on Saturday, Oct 13th from 2:00pm to 9:00pm at the Courtyard by Marriott in Old Town (on Jefferson Street).
San Diego, CA, October 02, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The event “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer - Day Of Fashion” is sponsored by Breast Cancer Walking Team SALU and features a range of designers and top models.
“I'm honored to be part of this wonderful fundraiser,” said Dazzlme designer Camille Wood. “It turns out this is very timely for me as I have recently launched Dazzlme for a Cure. For every hat sold, I'm giving a military-style hat away to cancer patients (see photo). Hats come in black, pink and gray and are decorated with a crystal ribbon pin made from Aurora Borealis crystals. I feel it is important to acknowledge all forms of cancer and chose the crystals especially because it is said that they reflect all the colors of the rainbow and symbolically, all the colors of cancer. I hope these hats will bring joy to those who wear them.”
Dazzlme will also be unveiling a new line of dresses (see photo) and several of the models participating in the show are cancer survivors or have family members who have recently been diagnosed with cancer. The dresses are especially tailored for women over 40, highlighting the ageless features of a woman's body such as the shoulders and back, and concealing areas which don't always withstand the test of time, such as the neck and upper arms.
Women who want to stand out in a crowd looking beautiful, adventurous and sexy, but always with class, elegance and style will really love the new Dazzlme dress line as well as an exciting array of hats and head pieces created by Camille Wood, San Diego artist and designer.
