RFID Tribe's Dallas, Texas Chapter Meets to Discuss RFID Innovation in Healthcare

Dallas, TX, July 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- RFID Innovation in Healthcare is the theme for RFID Tribe's Dallas, Texas chapter meeting scheduled for July 20, 2007. RFID Tribe chapter meetings bring together RFID technology practitioners in metropolitan areas for networking, presentations and collaboration.

Dr. JC Chiao, associate professor at the University of Texas at Arlington, will make a presentation "RFID Innovation in Healthcare - Got heartburn? Got pain? Let RFID help you."

The University of Texas at Arlington focuses on integration of RFID and biomedical sensors for disease diagnosis and therapeutic treatment. Dr. Chiao will discuss recent developments of wireless GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) sensors, pain management systems and SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) monitoring systems in his research group.

The event is organized by RFID Tribe and is sponsored by Matrix Resources and by the North Texas Enterprise Center for Medical Technology.
