Raleigh, NC, October 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Hydraulic fracturing, which employs a mixture of water, sand and chemicals pumped at high pressure deep underground to generate production of natural gas and oil, is used in approximately 90 percent of the 50,000 gas wells in the United States. As practice of fracturing, also known as fracking, continues, concerns are growing regarding undisclosed chemicals that pose significant threats to surface and underground water supplies.

Split Estate will be shown at the Haw River Ballroom, located at 1735 Saxapahaw Bethlehem Church Road in Saxapahaw, N.C. on Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. The screening will be a free event and is open to the public.
