Marino has been on the Old Chatham staff since early April 2001, the same year that the club opened.
Originally from Greenwich, Conn., Marino worked at the local public golf course. He joined the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) of America in 1994 after graduating from the University of Connecticut at Storrs where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business communications. He is a past board member of The First Tee of the Triangle, a nonprofit organization with educational programs in Wake, Durham and Orange counties that impact the lives of young people ages 6-18 by building character, instilling life-enhancing values and promoting healthy choices through the game of golf. Marino has also taught a class at NC State University called Golf for Business and Life which was focused on teaching Graduate Students the game of golf so they could use it in their careers.
