Enhancements to Innoprise Citizen Access Allow for Secure Payment Processing
The integration of Harris Payment Gateway and Innoprise Citizen Access provides convenience for both Municipalities and Citizens through secure payment processing.
Broomfield, CO, October 04, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Harris Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is pleased to announce that the latest enhancements made to Innoprise Citizen Access will allow CIS and Community Development users accept and securely process citizen payments for utility bills, sales tax payments, community development permits/licenses payments, and the like.
The Harris Payment Gateway is a hosted, PCI-compliant payment processing Website (think of it like PayPal checkout). Applications integrating with the Gateway basically construct a “shopping cart” which is sent to the Gateway. The end-user is redirected to the secure Gateway site, where they supply their sensitive information and complete the payment process. If the transaction is successful, the end user is redirected back to the originating application (i.e. Citizen Access) and the records in Innoprise CIS or Innoprise Community Development are updated appropriately.
This design means that sensitive credit card information never flows through our applications or even our customers’ networks.
This integration will be available in Citizen Access version 2.4.1, scheduled for release at month-end.
