An Exhibition of Artworks by Kat Kronick Thursday, October 11, 2012 L2 Lounge, Georgetown, DC

No Easel, No Brush: Experientialism - Kat Kronick, a DC fine artist, calls her style of painting "Experientialism." It is based in reality and is a straightforward effort to "seize the moment" of life. No easel, no brush - just paints flowing in their intimate relationship with canvas. These living experiences give birth to the colors, textures and shapes, which come together to create each individual work of art.

Experientialism

Kat Kronick, a DC fine artist, calls her style of painting ‘Experientialism’. It is based in reality and is a straightforward effort to ‘seize the moment’ of life. No easel, no brush - just paints flowing in their intimate relationship with canvas. These living experiences give birth to the colors, textures and shapes, which come together to create each individual work of art. Joyce McCarten, a well-known award-winning artist says, “It's been a while since Washington has seen painting like this!”
