Tris Katone on Tour This Summer
KATONE hit the road this June for his 2007 Summer Tour. Circling the United States and Canada from June to September, this promises to be a must see concert .
Philadelphia, PA, July 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- KATONE's “Flaming Retrosexual Tour” will begin in Toronto the third week of June. The United States leg of the tour begins in Seattle, Washington on July 27th. The 46 date Summer Tour will be KATONE's first solo tour to span the entire United States and the set list will include songs from all four KATONE CDs (Committing Suicide, The Next Devil, Plastic Udder, Erotic Crystallization Inertia).
KATONE has not toured in concert since his successful 2004 E.C.I. Tour.
However, Tris Katone did travel from state to state in 2006 for his "Making Waves" radio station tour and claimed he was “starving” to perform his songs live.
"We put a lot of work into making this a fantastic show", said Tris. "This is a big thing for me as a solo artist and I plan on bringing it every night. I have a fantastic tour band (Paul Del Ray, Kyle San Lucas, Mark McNeil, Kel Dwyer, Richard Aaron Pierce) and they share my idea of what a great show is", Tris added.
Tris Katone started his career in the music industry as a drummer, and had success in the late eighties "hair band" era along with signing his first record deal with Autograph Records/BMI (Canada) in 1989.
In the mid-nineties, Tris decided to go solo and was picked up by the independent label, Dainty Suicide Records out of Los Angeles. Tris then decided to play all the instruments on his cds himself and became noted for his song writing and production abilities.
In 2006, KATONE signed a major label deal with The Sanctuary Group and is finding himself on the rise as a solo artist.
