Boston, MA, July 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Pollymore Music Group is pleased to announce that Dre Robinson has been nominated for three Mass Industry Committee (MIC) Awards for the second year in a row. Dre received accolades in the following categories, Male Artist Of The Year, Lyricist Of The Year and Single Of The Year for his song "Oh Yeah" featuring Dakari.

The MIC is an organization representing and promoting New England urban artists and entertainment companies. Based in Boston, The MIC is committed to raising the profile of the many talented artists and businesses that make up the exciting and thriving New England Hip Hop music industry. The MIC Awards is one of their signature events. the awards are based on impact made from November 2005 until November 2006 and are being decided by the public. Fans can log onto www.themicawards.com to vote for their favorites.

Last year at the MIC Awards, Dre was nominated for Male Artist, Collaboration Of The Year and Lyricist Of The Year and brought home the trophies for Male Artist and Collaboration.

In addition to Dre's nods, Pollymore is also celebrating producer Nelly ProTools' pair of nominations for Producer Of The Year and Studio Of The Year for his Scratchismz Studios. ProTools took both at last year's inagural awards and is quckly becoming one of the most sought after producers in New England.

The nominations come as Dre's latest single, "This Is That", produced by Nelly ProTools, is picking up steam at radio and Dre prepares for his album's late summer 2007 release. Mass Appeal Entertainment announced last year the signing of major distribution deal with Fontana Distribution, a part of the Universal Music Group system. The first release of that new pact will be Dre Robinson's debut, This Is Me. Mobb Deep, Jae Millz, Papoose and his Mass appeal Entertainment label mate Ryan Toby all contribute to the set. A raw mixture of the best that East Coast hip hop has to offer, This Is Me is poised to be a stunning intro.

The entire Pollymore Team is in good spirits but Dre sums it up best. "Whenever anyone shows respect and love for your work thats a good thing. I am on board for 3. That's what's up. I appreciate that. ProTools is up for two. He's a beast out here. Cats might have to get out of his way. He has some big tunes. The crew is looking good."

The party doesnt stop there. As a preview to his debut, Dre is releasing a series of mixtapes that are sure to have the fans happy. The first, Heart Of The Streets, is a collaboration with DJ Radio of Kay Slay's Streetsweepers crew and Sirius Satellite Radio has been receiving rave reviews. Collabs with Terminalogy, Statik Selektah, DC The Midi Alien, Nelly ProTools, Smoke Bulga, Frankie Wainwright and Dre's own group Jacob Family. Also Dre will make his acting debut in the Dirty Crimes. The film will premeire late this summer shortly before the release of Dre's album.
