Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia Appoints New Advisory Board Chair
The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Advisory Board Chair Steven Haas, Esq., Vice Chair of the Corporate Practice Group, Cozen O’Connor.
Philadelphia, PA, October 06, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia (ABC) is pleased to announce the appointment of its new Advisory Board Chair Steven Haas, Esq., Vice Chair of the Corporate Practice Group, Cozen O’Connor.
Haas succeeds Stephen Zarrilli, CFO of Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., who had served as Co-chair since 2010.

As a member of Cozen O’Connor, Haas counsels both established and emerging growth companies in all business segments in expansion and financing strategies, acquisitions and joint ventures, technology and bio-technology licensing, corporate governance issues, succession planning, and related shareholder matters. In his practice, Steven assists a variety of clients in acquisitions, mergers and corporate finance transactions, as well as in corporate aviation matters. He also serves as chair of the firm's Technology Committee and co-chair of its Professional Development Committee.
Haas has sat on the ABC Advisory Board since 2010 but he already had strong ties to the Arts & Business Council prior to this service. Haas is a 2002 graduate of ABC’s Business On Board Leadership Development program and was honored in 2006 as the Business On Board Member of the Year for his service on the Central Board of Trustees and as chairman of the Development Committee of Settlement Music School; a Board on which he still currently sits and serves on its Executive Committee.
