Reksoft Celebrates 20 Years of Outsourcing Cooperation with Ascom AG

Reksoft started cooperation with an Ascom subsidiary - Ascom Business Systems AG - in 1992 when Ascom handed over some of company’s application development tasks to Reksoft software development team. At that moment, Ascom Business Systems faced challenges in finding the key IT personnel with adequate skills for bringing the business critical applications on market on time. Although outsourcing was a new challenge for the company, the management made the positive decision about sending its application development work offshore as one of globalization initiatives.
By outsourcing to Reksoft, Ascom had not only the access to the right skills and reduced costs of software development, but also gained the opportunity to focus on its core business – building comprehensive technological know-how in mission-critical communication. Within the course of the project engagement, Reksoft software development team was involved in a number of R&D activities, all contributing to the development of Ascom market-winning solutions such as network performance analysis tool QVoice (now TEMS).
