New Sweet Seats Smartphone App Enhances Entertainment Experience for Fans
Patent pending software integrates web-based point-of-sale, online store with shared inventory for artists, venues.
Bloomington, IN, October 08, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Those attending entertainment venues no longer have to interrupt their enjoyment of the show to buy food or merchandise. Thanks to the new Sweet Seats Smartphone app created by Triple R Marketing and Sales of Bloomington, Ind., those offerings and more can be conveniently available through the fan’s mobile device.
Users simply download the software app to their Android or Apple Smartphone. At the show venue they click the app, select state and venue, and the app takes them to the venue’s online store. Users then can order food and merchandise after entering their seat location and payment option.
Fans can pay by credit card, PayPal or Amazon. There is no individual account to set up—this quick, convenient order and pay app allows fans more time to enjoy the show or sporting event. And, their credit card information is secure as the app uses the highest 256-bit encryption available.
The Sweet Seats app also offers new marketing opportunities for artists and entertainment venues. The app integrates a web-based point-of-sale with the respective online store and its shared inventory. Artists can sell their wares to fans in the seats and at the merchant stand at the same time without worrying about the inventory for each.
The app is attractive for venues because the web-based software and process doesn’t have to interact with their existing software. It also creates an entirely new avenue for selling advertising.
Sweet Seats allows businesses to advertise on the artist’s or venue’s web store at the bottom of the screen. That ad hit could include a printed coupon that is delivered to the customer with their order. This advertising exposure will encourage customers to walk through the doors of a local business to check out a special offer following the game or show.
While the mobile device app is new, the company is not. Triple R Marketing and Sales, part of Ruedlinger Inc., has worked since 2005 with businesses across the U.S. on marketing strategies, graphic design, social media, print materials and promotional products, online inventory control, and small business e-commerce.
Triple R Marketing soon plans to roll out this patent-pending software to the retail and education markets in December. Small mom and pop stores will be able to have an online presence without having to inventory two separate programs. Now one software solution will handle both point-of-sale and online sales for the small business.
Schools can have their bookstore inventory online and, with the new web-based software, can take their point-of-sale setup and some inventory to special events and games without having to change their setup or inventory.
The core value of Triple R Marketing and Sales is to “create value for our customers and give them the best customer service they have ever experienced.”
