Google Maps is taking Street View Inside New Brunswick Businesses with a new program titled "Google Business Photos". It gives the public the ability to take a Virtual Tour of the of a business online using Street View Technology.
New Brunswick, NJ, October 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Google Maps Street View is taking their technology indoors to capture the interiors of New Brunswick Businesses from Oct. 15 - Nov. 2.
Google Maps Street View will be in New Brunswick for a limited time working on a new project officially titled "Google Business Photos." Business Photos allows web users to take a Virtual Tour of a business interior with the same type of technology used by Google's Street View. Anthony and his team from Black Paw Photo are the Certified Google Trusted Photographers that will be working in the area to provide local business owners with this new service. Interested business owners should register online as soon as possible if they would like to participate in this program, as space is limited.
The Wicked Wolf Tavern, a popular New Jersey waterfront sports bar, is one of several businesses in the area that have already taken part in the Google Business Photos project. Using Google Street View Technology, Black Paw Photo's team of Google Trusted Photographers will create an interactive 360-degree Virtual Tour of a business establishment. The tour begins on the street in front of the business and progresses through all of the interior areas of the business which are accessible to customers. The Virtual Tour works the same way as Google Street View, but for the inside of the business location. This new feature from Google provides an interactive experience for customers and has features that let them "walk" through, pan around 360 degrees, and also zoom in on merchandise, signs, and decor. The Google Business Photos package also includes a set of professional still photographs. The Virtual Tour and still images are published on a business owner's Google+ Local Page, as well as on Google Maps and Google Search. This greatly increases the amount of exposure a business can get when customers find them on Google.
This unique new advertising and marketing product further helps increase exposure for a business through the embed feature. Simply by copying and pasting the code from Google Maps, a business owner can embed the virtual tour on their own website and on their Facebook page. Additionally, the public will have access to the Virtual Tours and photos through the Google Maps App which is installed on all mobile Android devices.
According to Anthony from Black Paw Photo, "The way most people search for a business nowadays is by "Googling it." So it is highly likely that a prospective customer's first contact with any business will be through Google. Since you only get one chance to make a first impression, why not make the strongest one possible? By inviting people into your business right off of Google, it can give them one more reason to choose your company over your competition. Customers like knowing what to expect when they arrive, and the best way to give them that comfort is with Google Business Photos."
"Google Business Photos keeps evolving, and so it is a smart investment for business owners. Google continually releases new features in Google Maps and Google Search that help give better exposure on the web for businesses that have added the new Google Virtual Tour. This gives value to the participants of this program long after they make the decision to add Google Business Photos."
