Competitive Intelligence: Expanding Beyond the Traditional – SCIP Wisconsin Chapter Meeting October 16
In this combination SCIP/SLA session, Roger Phelps reviews the skills, tools and processes necessary for building and running a successful competitive intelligence function.
Wawatosa, WI, October 11, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals and Special Library Association Wisconsin chapters will host a combined program on Tuesday, October 16, to address how competitive intelligence practitioners can take better advantage of the abilities of corporate librarians and how corporate librarians can expand their skills to become more successful competitive intelligence practitioners.
Librarians have played a critical role within companies for decades. However, just like the current dynamic business environment, they face significant changes in their corporate role. Now may be the time to expand their skill set beyond the traditional one. Roger Phelps of Phelps Research will discuss the skills, tools and processes necessary for building and running a successful competitive intelligence.
The combined chapter meeting will take place at Mo’s Irish Pub in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 16. The meeting price of $35/members includes networking, dinner, and the program. For registration and any questions, please contact Robyn Reals at rreals at scip.org.
