The 2012 Taste of Cave Creek is Presented by Sanderson Ford in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ, October 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Sanderson Ford is once again sponsoring the Taste of Cave Creek in Arizona. The annual event will take place Wednesday, October 17 and Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 5-10 PM in Stagecoach Village on Cave Creek Road.

Over 25 restaurants from around Cave Creek will be featured at the event. Those who are 21 or older can also enjoy the craft beer garden, wine tasting and Cruz tequila. When not stuffing their stomachs with delicious food and beverages, attendees will be able to enjoy a Sonoran Arts League exhibit and sale and live country music. On Wednesday from 6 – 10 PM, the Herndon Brothers and Tim and Willy’s All Earl Band will entertain the crowd.

Two new events will also be featured this year: a chili cook-off and a music contest. The Tim and Willy Chili Cook-off will award cash prizes for the top chili recipes. To enter the cook-off, participants must be a member of the International Chili Society and pay a $25 entrance fee. The chili will also be on sale, with 25% of the profit going towards charity and 50% going towards the cook. The music contest is sponsored by Chicks with Picks and will award cash prizes as well. Individual performers and bands are welcome and the audience will determine each night’s winners.

Taste of Cave Creek Cookbooks are currently available at Sanderson Ford for $10, with all proceeds benefiting the Tim & Willy Foundation. Copies of the cookbook will also be on sale at the Taste of Cave Creek on Wednesday and Thursday.
