SFL Selected as Finalist in the British-Swiss Business Awards
SFL Regulatory Affairs & Scientific Communication Ltd (SFL) is proud to announce that the company has been selected as a finalist in the second annual British-Swiss Business Awards.
Basel, Switzerland, October 13, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The British-Swiss Business Awards recognize companies for the outstanding contributions they have made to bilateral trade and investment between the UK and Switzerland.
SFL Regulatory Affairs & Scientific Communication Ltd (SFL) has been nominated as a finalist in the “Most Promising New Business/Entrepreneur” category, which is awarded to a business or organization, which has been in operation for three years or less, and has demonstrated excellence in research, development, innovation and overall solid business practices. As a company, SFL has grown rapidly from one employee when founded in 2009 in Switzerland to 15 now, including 3 positions for the affiliate in the UK. It is a success story that has already been independently recognized by the “Northwest Switzerland Young Entrepreneurs' Competition in 2010” and the “Open University Business School Alumni Award Committee in 2012”.
“We are delighted that SFL’s innovative spirit and commitment to its clients has been recognized by the committee of the British Swiss Business Awards” commented Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani, SFL’s managing director. “The SFL team is uniquely set to support clients thanks to our combination of regulatory, policy, scientific and legal backgrounds. We can tailor our deliverables to suit both small and large clients and yet not lose the personal approach. Our clients particularly appreciate the cross-functional approach we bring to projects so that they get answers that have been considered from different angles.”
“SFL’s involvement in the healthcare sector also extends beyond working on client-related projects,” she continued. “As a member of key European industry association, we are able to actively follow and provide input for European draft legislation and policies in both the pharmaceutical and medtech sectors.”
The British Swiss Business Awards reflect the wide range of successful ventures across the British-Swiss business community - from small start-ups and individual entrepreneurs to long-established businesses. Winning entries are selected on the basis of the company demonstrating a client-centric, socially sensitive philosophy, backed by a clear strategy and vision. Winners will be honored at the British-Swiss Business Awards gala dinner, organized by the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva on Thursday, 1st November, 2012.
