Second Singapore Patent Expands International Medical Device Intellectual Property Protection for babyLance

The medical product company recently received approval of two applications for patent protection of its babyLance(tm) infant heel incision device from the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS).
The Singapore patent is the second for babyLance. Last year, MediPurpose announced approval for another Singapore medical device patent in April 2011.
MediPurpose also holds multiple international medical device patents for its popular SurgiLance(tm) safety lancet.
The infant heelstick device's patent approval is currently pending in several other countries.
