LandOrSlum.com Accommodates Vacation Renters

LandorSlum.com, the website started by two recent University of Pittsburgh graduates, has expanded to include ratings and reviews for vacation properties. This update hopefully will reach renters of all ages and will be an excellent addition to a website that already strives to assist students and other renters looking for apartments.

Pittsburgh, PA, July 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- LandOrSlum.com launched a new application that empowers renters to rate their vacation homes and condominiums.

Using a scale from 1.0 to 5.0, with 1.0 being the lowest, renters rate their vacation properties according to furnishings, maintenance, cleanliness, and overall experience. The site encourages users to post comments about their vacation homes and condos, enabling other renters to learn otherwise hidden information before renting their next vacation property.

“We’re aiming to fill the gap between the information provided by the realtors and the nuances renters can only discover by living in their vacation homes,” said Adam Gorzelsky, co-founder of LandOrSlum.com.

As of today, the site includes ratings for properties in Ocean City, Nags Head, and Hatteras Island.

“I hope vacationers truly maximize this resource as a way to find homes and condos that suit their interests and fulfill their needs,” said Katie Wilson, co-founder of LandOrSlum.com. “Like our apartment rating section, it has the potential to do a lot of good.”

LandOrSlum.com went public in March, allowing apartment tenants to rate their landlords and communicate with fellow renters both locally and on a national scale.

The website is continuing to expand across the country and the owners hope that both the apartment and vacation sections will become valuable tools for renters of all ages.
