New Unifying Brand, European Utility Week, Unveiled in Amsterdam
The new European Utility Week corporate identity was unveiled to industry stakeholders at Metering, Billing/CRM Europe at the RAI Convention Centre, Amsterdam, last week.
Amsterdam, Netherlands, October 18, 2012 --(PR.com)-- "A fantastic new unifying brand for what is the most important and comprehensive event of the European energy scene”, is how Phillip Lewis, Founder and CEO of VaasaETT Global Energy Think Tank, described the new European Utility Week Corporate Identity, which was unveiled to stakeholders at the RAI Convention Centre, Amsterdam, last week.
European Utility Week, which brings together the co-located Metering Billing/CRM Europe, Smart Homes, Transmission & Distribution/Smart Grids Europe, has been created following a six month programme of consultation with the market.
Explaining the thinking behind the new brand, which officially went live on 12 October 2012, Rick Wall, Managing Director, Global Utility Group, Clarion Events said: “I am firmly of the belief that the new brand, will deliver even more for our customers and the industry as we rise to the challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead. European Utility Week is the result of an intensive research and design programme which we have been very careful to sense check with our stakeholders. Bringing the three events into a single, unified and strong brand makes perfect sense, and we are delighted at the feedback we have received from all sections of the business.”
Geoffrey Riggs, Marketing and Communications Manager, Elster illustrated the positive response to European Utility Week, stating: “The new name and concept delivers exactly what the market has been asking for.” Bram Reinders, Manager Alliance Management, Alliander, confirmed: “The European Utility Week brand reflects how important this show is for our industry.”
