Stellar Appoints CIO to Lead Call Centre Outsourcing Technology Strategy
Sydney, Australia, July 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Stellar, a leading global business process outsourcing provider, today announced that Warwick Marx has been appointed Chief Information Officer of Stellar Asia Pacific. Marx will lead and further develop Stellar’s call centre and business process outsourcing technology strategies.
Marx takes the helm as CIO after acting as Regional General Manager at Stellar for the past 18 months. Marx has over 20 years experience working as a professional engineer, project manager and business manager. More recently he worked as the National Business Manager for a New York Stock Exchange listed software company and a General Manager for one of Australia’s 100 fastest growing companies.
Marx was one of Australia’s pioneers in the use of large-scale computer simulations for vehicle crashworthiness and worked on the design of the Holden Commodore and Holden Monaro. He has also been instrumental in the establishment of a number of tech start-up companies, including an online recruitment site (which was acquire by Seek in 2000) and most recently SmartPharmTM an online learning platform for retail pharmacy.
Marx has a Masters Degree in Engineering, MBA and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Cara Lee has been appointed to the position of Regional General Manager of Stellar Asia Pacific. Lee brings with her 25 years of work experience, including contact centre development, channel integration and customer relationship management in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. She has extensive retail financial services background and held general management, strategic planning and project development roles at various financial institutions both locally and internationally.
Lee joined Stellar recently from a leading provider of retail lease and rental finance where she was Head of Contact Centre, responsible for the development of the strategic infrastructure and effective people leadership of a national operation that led to significant growth in business. Lee helped manage the successful public listing of the company in December last year.
Lee gained her tertiary qualifications in Singapore. She will be managing multi-media contact centres and business process operations in her new regional role at Stellar.
