Larry A. Warch, CFE, FCLS, CIFI, a special investigator for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has been Named a Metropolitan Who’s Who Honored Member Representing Law Enforcement.

Warch, CFE, FCLS, CIFI, a special investigator with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has been named an honored member of Metropolitan Who’s Who for his work with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the investigative arm of the US Department of Justice. Since 2006, Warch has been a special investigator for the FBI. As such, he conducts background investigations of individuals seeking employment and security clearances within the FBI, the Department of Justice, the Department of Energy and the Executive Branch of the U.S. government, including the White House. He is a member of the Joint Task Force - Homeland Defense and holds top secret security clearance. He served on presidential security detail for visits by John F. Kennedy.

Since 2002, Warch has worked for Law Associates as a special investigator representing clients as diverse as Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Law Associates provides services to individuals and companies seeking confidential investigations. Warch’s prior work experience includes more than two decades as a police officer and detective with Baltimore County, a year as a medical assistance fraud specialist for the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, five years as a claim representative for CIGNA Property and Casualty insurance companies, The State of Maryland Mass Transit Administration and Kemper National Insurance Company. Warch also spent five years as a special investigator for Great American Insurance Company and four years as a special investigator for Ohio Casualty Group/Great American Insurance Company.

Warch, a fraud claim law specialist, certified fraud examiner and certified insurance fraud investigator, attended Catonsville Community College where he majored in criminal justice. He also completed insurance education courses in claims training, claim handling principles and practices, personal insurance and fraud claims. He is the author of a PRISMS newsletter directed toward the jewelry market and an article entitled “The Value of Video” discussing retail jewelry operations.

Warch is a member of the south east chapter of the International Association of Auto-Theft Investigators, the Fraternal Order of Police, Baltimore County Lodge Fraternal Order of Police #4, the Metropolitan Area Fraud Investigators Association, the Federal Criminal Investigators Association and the Delaware, Maryland and Virginia Fraud Associations. While serving in the U.S. Army’s 287th Military Police Company from 1962-1965, Warch investigated all types of criminal activity by U.S. military personnel and their dependents.
